I have worked in the publishing industry for tens of years, starting my design projects in Quark Express with film plates and progressing though to the latest Adobe Creative Suite. I am involved with book production and page layouts nearly every day.
While working at DK (Penguin Random House) I was part of a team of designers, picture researchers and editors who were sending several highly illustrated books to print each week ranging in sizes up to six hundred pages. These titles were all converted into ebooks and produced to be adapted seamlessly into other languages by co-publishers across the globe.

Singapore Street Food
2020 - Initial Marketing Design
A recipe and cultural history of the phenomena of Hawker Centres in Singapore. The design follows strong simple recipe instructions interspersed with full bleed images, each time stamped.
Atlas of Geek
2022 - Design Spreads for Marketing
This title explores the real life locations that were used or influenced films, books and television shows. It rejoices in the enthusiasm and dedication of fandom. The spreads, graphics and maps are each given a differing look and feel to match the subject being covered. A playful book with easter eggs throughout the design for the ultra geeks.
Instant Noodles
2020 - Marketing Design
A celebration the instant noodle, instant ramen and pot noodle. A deep dive into the history, cultural impacts, creation, popularity and artwork of one of the world’s most prevalent snack foods. Interspersed with recipe ideas and fun facts, the book is designed to replicate a noodle pack and initial hardback editions include a soy sauce sachet bookmark.
